Description:This course is an introduction to basic modeling methods
including decision trees, Markov models and other simulation methods used in
pharmacoeconomic evaluation and outcomes research. The course will use the
ISPOR-SMDM Joint Modeling Good Research Practices Task Force to explore when
and how modeling should be used in economic evaluation and which are the
suitable model techniques.
