  • Propensity Scoring Methods are useful in observational studies to achieve balance in the evidence collected and reduce bias. Since observational studies provide opportunities to collect real-world evidence, it is important to understand how propensity score methods may be used.

    • Describe the theory behind propensity score methods
    • List the types of propensity score methods and describe differences among the methods
    • Describe the limitations of propensity score methods
