Evidence for regulatory and health technology assessment decisions requires valid causal inference. This course will (1) present an innovative framework of causal inference methods, target trial emulation, causal estimands and causal modeling for observational studies and clinical trials affected by treatment switching; (2) share lessons learned from applications, and (3) provide recommendations for HTA submissions.
