Course Information

  • Gain invaluable insights and practical experience in optimizing your Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITC) strategies for global programs. Designed for professionals gearing up for product launches and health technology assessment (HTA) submissions, this course zeroes in on the practicalities of launching successful global ITC programs to meet international evidence requirements. Participants will delve into the feasibility assessments of ITCs, evaluating the viability and potential impact of various ITC methodologies including network meta-analysis, matching adjusted indirect treatment comparisons, simulated treatment comparison, external control arm studies, and multilevel network meta-regression (ML-NMR). Participants will learn about different ITC methods and the selection process to match specific HTA requirements, including the nuances related to ITC submission requirements by global HTA bodies, as well as recent EU-HTA initiatives. This includes navigating through the complexities of evidence requirements and ensuring that your ITC program meets the rigorous standards set forth by these organizations.

During the course, participants will actively map out an evidence generation plan, an exercise aimed to provide participants with the skills to develop a comprehensive global ITC program that supports HTA launch.

    Learning Objectives:
