  • This self-paced, one-hour eLearning course provides an introduction to Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). Designed for learners new to the field, the course explores the key differences between Outcomes Research and Randomized Clinical Trials, including their respective strengths and limitations. Additionally, participants will gain a foundational understanding of healthcare economics and its practical application in evaluating and selecting among alternative therapies. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with essential insights to navigate the dynamic landscape of HEOR. Learning Objectives:
    Describe the differences between Outcomes Research and Randomized Clinical Trials, and list the pros and cons of each.
    Define healthcare economics and state its application in choosing between alternative therapies.
