Decision analytical models are used to inform a decision process, and are used when direct observation is difficult. One of these models that is commonly used is the Markov Model. At the completion of this online learning module, you will be able to: • Describe decision analytical models • Describe the basic mechanics of the Markov model • Determine when it is appropriate to use a Markov approach • Construct a Markov model for assessing the economic value of a health care technology • Apply these concepts to a real-world problem The access period once enrolled into the course is 30 days from the date of purchase.
