It is important to understand the potential financial implications of introducing a new therapy or intervention into a healthcare system with finite resources. Budget impact analysis is used to understand the impact of a new therapy or intervention, and sometimes the impact on utilization of an existing therapy or intervention as a result of that introduction. At the completion of this online learning module, you will be able to: • Describe the elements of budget impact analysis • Follow the ISPOR Guidelines for Budget Impact Analysis • Explore how different countries approach Budget Impact Analysis • Build a basic budget impact model The access period once enrolled into the course is 30 days from the date of purchase.
